We are currently recruiting substitutes for the following
positions:
CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTES
- Full day - $75.00/day
- Half day - $37.50/day
To be eligible to be a substitute teacher, you must submit the
following:
- Substitute Application
- Copy of Arizona Teaching or Substitute Certificate
- Three (3) letters of Recommendation
- Resume*
*Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of applications
CLASSIFIED SUBSTITUTES (Support Staff)
- School Nurses – A current RN License and CPR card are
required
- Full Day - $75.00/day
- Half day - $37.50/day
- Health Assistants – A current CPR and standard First
Aid
cards are
required
- Special Education Assistants
- Custodians – 8 hour shifts between 12:00 p.m. and 12:00
a.m.
To be eligible to be a support staff substitute, you must submit the
following:
- Substitute Application
- Fingerprints must be taken and submitted to the Human Resources
office.
The cost for processing the fingerprint card is $29.00 and must be
paid
at the time the fingerprint card is submitted.
- Resumes are not required, but are highly encouraged.
Being a substitute with Amphitheater School District in no way
constitutes
an assurance of a minimum number of assignments. Employment is strictly
an on-call, as needed basis.
