Welcome back to another exciting year at Ironwood Ridge High School as well as those of you who are new to IRHS. There are a few things I would like to share with you about myself. I grew up on the east coast, spending most of my time in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Virginia. I went to college in Virginia and New Jersey, graduating with a B.S. in Dietetics/Nutrition Education from Rowan Universty. After teaching and working as a clinical nutritionist in New Jersey, I moved to California, where I attended California State Unversity as well University of California for my graduate work in education and special edcaution. I taught in California for many years and was the Special Education Department Chairperson at Fountain Hills Jr./Sr. High School for several years prior to moving to Tucson. I believe my proudest endeavor was owning The Riding Center in California and Arizona, where children spent time with therapy animals. Therefore, I am committed to believe you can achieve any goal you set out to accomplish. I am here to assist you with obtaining those goals. Dreams can become reality with perseverance and commitment.
