The Amphitheater School District Native American Education Department recognizes the special education and culturally-related academic needs of American Indian students and provides the following services to meet those needs: Advisory Services Advisory Services are available and cover academic, personal and/or career/ college problems. Students are encouraged to avail themselves of this help to assess progress toward their educational and vocational goals. Tutorial Services The Native American Education Department provides tutorial services for Native American students after or during school hours in required subjects and assists the students in meeting minimum requirements for graduation. Student Activities The Native American Education Department offers Indian students many opportunities to participate in high school, college/career/personal growth and developmental workshops, in addition to community activities.
