Welcome Letter to the Amphi Community
Thank you for your interest in Amphitheater School District. It is a privilege to lead a talented team of educators and dedicated staff. We are working together to prepare students for success in college, career, and life.
We are getting them ready for a future that looks very different from when you and I were in school. Students today must be ready to take on the demands of a technology-driven workplace. They must have the ability to think critically, and work as part of a team to collaborate and solve problems.
We realize that educating a child is not a one-size-fits-all undertaking. Amphitheater staff and teachers work with parents and students to ensure that each child has opportunities to grow and excel in all subject areas.
We are proud to be nationally accredited by AdvancED School System Accreditation. It is a mark of quality for our system and all the schools within it. It demonstrates to our community our commitment to excellence, our openness to external review and feedback, and our desire to be the best we can be on behalf of the students we serve.
Our rigorous curriculum is based on standards that provide a consistent framework to give students the tools they need to succeed. We are committed to the Amphi tradition that every student leaves prepared with the skills, knowledge and values necessary to meet the challenges of a changing world.
We offer students many opportunities outside the classroom to pursue interests that build character, strength, and community.
Please explore our district, and see how teaching and learning begins with caring and curiosity.
