Mrs. Yewell was awarded $5,000 through the Wishes for Teachers grant. The grant is sponsored by the Fiesta Bowl. The grant recipients were honored at the Cactus Bowl in Phoenix on December 27th. Mrs. Yewell's wish is to have the opportunity to experience a MakerBot Replicator+ which is a 3D printer. The printer will be used to positively impact our school and students by allowing them to have the opportunity to create whatever they imagine! Way to go, Mrs. Yewell!
Two of our outstanding 5th graders competed in the Amphitheater District Spelling Bee this week. They competed against students up to eighth grade. Maggie came in second place!
