Scott Leska moved to the Tucson area in 1979. He attended public schools including those in the Flowing Wells and Amphitheater school districts. He is a strong supporter of public education. Scott graduated from the University of Arizona and, for a short time, taught engineering courses at the U of A as an Adjunct Professor. He has worked in both the private and public engineering sectors for over 24 years. His work includes design and project management of public infrastructure for transportation from Florida to California. He is a licensed engineer in Michigan, California and Arizona.
Scott and his wife have three children attending school in Amphitheater School District. Committed to community service and giving back, Scott has volunteered in leadership positions with numerous organizations, both professional and philanthropic. He is the current Vice-President of the Arizona Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is also a past President of the American Public Works Association. Most of his passion lies in helping our children. He has volunteered for the Boy Scouts of American for over 10 years, and is the current Cub Master for Pack 299 which meets at Amphi's Copper Creek Elementary School.
Most importantly, Scott is a husband and father who takes great pride in building relationships. He attends, and is an active member of, St. Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. He is a citizen and a taxpayer. He is an advocate for every child who attends Amphitheater Unified School District.
