About the program
The Native American Education Project office at Amphitheater Public Schools supports the programs already in place at your child's school. We help the schools to monitor Native American Students attendance, academics, and social situations. We are available to assist in tutoring at the school sites. We offer assistance in locating help for all Native American families located within Amphi School district. We can assist in finding many agencies that can offer assistance for many situations.

STEP (Summer Transition and Enrichment Program) Applications Available Now!

The NAEP office will be offering a 4 week summer program for Native American students attending Amphitheater Public School. Enrollment is open to K-12 students.

Dates: June 11-July 12
Time: 8:00am - 11:15am
Location: Prince Elementary School
Content Focus: Math, Reading, Writing, Science and Native American Culture and History
Instructors: Tonya Thacker, Margaret Blaine, Kimberly Begay, and Albert Sombrero

Program Guidelines:
1.  Student must attend everyday.  Student will be dropped from program after 2 absences.
2.  Busses and lunch provided by Amphitheater School District.
3.  STEP will not substitute as make up credit.
4.  Student must have Title VII Eligibility form on file with NAEP office. 
5.  Application form must be submitted by May 1, 2012.  On the Application Form, please indicate Native Step at the top.
