CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTES (K-12 Teachers) Salary for the First 20 Assignments of Substituting (per school year): Full Day - $75.00/day Half Day - $37.50/day Salary after completing 20 Assignments of Substituting (per school year): Full Day - $100.00/day Half Day - $50.00/day To be eligible to be a certified substitute teacher, you must submit the following: Substitute Application Copy of Arizona Teaching or Substitute Certificate Current Fingerprint Clearance Card Three (3) letters of Recommendation Resume* *Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of applications Classified Substitutes (Support Staff) School Nurses - A current RN License and CPR card are required. Fingerprint processing can be completed by the Human Resources Department. The cost for fingerprint processing is $30.00 and must be paid at the time fingerprints are processed.
