The MegaPenny Project - understand and apply numbers, ways of representing numbers, the relationships among numbers and different number systems. Investigate place value concepts by exploring large numbers of pennies. The site steps you through pages which give information about increasing numbers of pennies. Large numbers are presented in standard notation and written form. Graphic representations show the numbers of pennies compared to a person, football field and large buildings. Number Relationships and Properties of Numbers - (PRI) This interactive tool allows students to discover the patterns in repeated addition. The tool uses a hundreds board and a calculator. AAAMath - Adding Positive and Negative Integers - (INT-MS) Students find the sum of two integers. They may choose to complete 20 more problems corrrect than incorrect, as many problems as they can in 60 seconds, or they can choose an option to receive more time for each correct answer.
