| The Literacy Engagement Collaborative involves participants in staff development and lesson planning and creation. These lessons will help them become more familiar with technology, as well as, helping them find effective and innovative ways to incorporate technology into the reading and writing curriculum. Requirements:
- This year's participants are expected to attend all scheduled classes for a total of 40 hours corresponding to the schedule below. In general, the classes will meet on Thursdays from 4-6. The location of the classes will be the Wetmore Computer Lab.
- Participants must complete 2 lesson plans, 2 Web Launch pages, 1 blogging activity and participate in an online collaborative project.
- Attendance is mandatory at the AzTEA Conference at Tucson High School on January 31, 2004. (6 hours professional development)
- Two Net Buddy Nights must be scheduled and hosted by participants.
What You Get:
- For your classroom, you will receive a digital camera and scanner OR a computer projection panel if you have previously participated in the Ed Tech or TLCF Grant.
- A $500.00 Stipend.
