This is a list of minimal hardware requirements to be met when making an initial purchase of computers and their peripherals.
In an effort to meet the needs of the majority of computer-users within the constraints of the current staffing of the Amphitheater Technology Department and to provide flexibility within the system, the Amphitheater Department of Informational Technology has established different divisions of software support detailed here.
Employees and students of Amphitheater School District are invited to create web sites to publish on the World-Wide-Web. These web sites must reflect the professional image of Amphitheater District, its employees, and students and therefore must meet these established guidelines.
This list details the various radio frequencies that are used at each site around the district. Also included is a license chart for each control point.
Amphitheater School District is excited to provide students, staff, and administrators with access to the Internet. The Internet provides many outstanding resources and activities; however, the Internet does have materials that are not appropriate for students. Using the Internet is a privilege. We have Electronic Information Use Agreements that must be signed before students and staff use the Internet.
It is the responsibility of Amphitheater Public Schools employees to use sound professional judgment in the selection of media to be used with students. This document details guidelines to be followed when selecting media for student use. The Teacher Request/Permission form is available here.
There is a hotline for requesting the installation of or repair of new computers. There are certain procedures to follow when calling the hotline to ensure prompt service.
Our nation’s leaders have established a goal that all students should achieve technological literacy for the 21st century. The Amphitheater School District Technology Management Plan is designed to help reach that goal.

This is an Arizona State Department of Education site, where the technology rationale and standards are detailed.
The technology standards and content are divided by grade level to assist teachers in developing lessons that meet the technology standards.
The State of Arizona has adopted six technology standards. In an effort to help teachers meet these standards, this web site provides a list of activities for grade levels and subject areas as well as links to complete lesson plans using software that is available to Amphitheater School District Students.
The District Technology Plan is based on the educational goals of the school system. These resources will be helpful as the Technology Plan is developed.
