Mission The faculty and staff of Ironwood Ridge High School pledge to promote an educational experience that inspires and prepares learners to realize their unique potential. Young adults will be prepared to contribute to society as humane and responsible learners, workers and citizens who respect diversity and are able to compete successfully in a global society. |
Organization & Philosophy Ironwood Ridge offers a traditional comprehensive high school format. The school week follows a modified block schedule.
Instructional Programs: Ironwood Ridge offers a full complement of programs addressing the needs of students planning on attending a four-year or a two-year college, for those pursuing additional technical education and those joining the work force immediately. Advanced placement, fine arts, foreigh language, physical education and career and technical education classes are some of the elective programs offered.
Academic Goals 2006-2007 Students will increase their reading, writing, and math scores as measured by AIMS. |
