When her children were in school, she served on the school site council at Amphitheater Middle School and was a parent volunteer in the first grade classroom at Walker school. She has, also, been an active member of the Amphitheater Foundation Board.

Linda has a long history of service to the children of our community through her work on youth related boards such as Assistance League, Southern Arizona Academic Decathlon, Workforce Investment Youth Council, Tech-Prep, School-to-Work, and Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates.

Providing all students with access to a quality education is the cornerstone of public schools. Linda values comprehensive high schools where students have opportunities to achieve high academic standards, as well as, having opportunities to prepare for college and the workplace. Linda is committed to public schools and would like to involve parents, teachers, and the community in legislative action and reform to achieve adequate state funding for public education.
