Welcome Letter to the Amphi Community

Thank you for your interest in Amphitheater School District.  It is a privilege to lead a talented team of educators and dedicated staff.   We are working together to prepare students for success in college, career, and life.

We are getting them ready for a future that looks very different from when you and I were in school. Students today must be ready to take on the demands of a technology-driven workplace.   They must have the ability to think critically, and work as part of a team to collaborate and solve problems.

We realize that educating a child is not a one-size-fits-all undertaking.  Amphitheater staff and teachers work with parents and students to ensure that each child has opportunities to grow and excel in all subject areas.

Our rigorous curriculum is based on standards that provide a consistent framework to give students the tools they need to succeed.  We are committed to the Amphi tradition that every student leaves prepared with the skills, knowledge and values necessary to meet the challenges of a changing world. 

We offer students many opportunities outside the classroom to pursue interests that build character, strength, and community.
