WELCOME |
The Amphitheater Middle School (AMS) Athletics program is determined to help students grow; as individuals and team members, academically as well as athletically. By working with various AMS afterschool programs our student athletes are learning the importance of exercising their minds, as well as their bodies.
Philosophy of Participation
AMS and the Amphitheater Interscholastics Department believe in the following philosophy: "The Northwest League has been organized to provide an educationally sound, competitive, athletic participation opportunity for middle school students. This opportunity includes activities that are likely to be pursued by boys and girls for their personal enjoyment, both now and in the future. Emphasis will be put on participation rather than 'winning at all cost'."

STUDENT PHYSICALS |
All participating athletes need to have an updated (after March 1, 2009) physical turned in to the office before they step on the field. Yes, you need a new physical every year. If you do not have a family doctor, this link will take you to a partial list of locations and information regarding physicals. (Thanks, Coronado!)
