

The business education department believes the overall purposes of business education at Canyon del Oro is: to impart the knowledge, attitudes, and vocational skills needed to deal effectively with living in our changing society, and to provide a foundation upon which to advance in business-oriented careers and education. The business education curriculum includes course sequences that adequately prepare students for direct employment in business or higher education. Vocational business subjects provide students with maximum vocational competency closest to graduation time and cooperative work-experience programs provide hands-on business experience.
WEB PAGE CREATION AND DESIGN Prerequisite: Business Management Technology
Students will learn basic to complex html coding, image refinement, and layout techniques involving frames, forms, tables and style sheets, Application of coding will be project based Web pages. During the second semester students will use advanced Web Page design Skills. This Course sequence is recommended for students pursuing a degree in technology or direct employment in the field.
Courses in this department meet the fine arts/vocational ed. requirement.
