Kuder Career Planning System

The Amphitheater School District has purchased a new online portfolio program for all of our students to use and take advantage of. This new program is called the Kuder Career Planning System. The Kuder system offers an interest inventory, a skills inventory, a work values inventory, career information, college information, a scholarship search, a resume builder, and many more features. And, one of the best features, is that it is on the web so it is available to students 24/7 anywhere they have an internet connection (www.kuder.com)!

All students are encouraged to check out this new system. It is our hope that this program will help more of our students to grduate with a 10 year plan in mind- that they will all have an idea of what career field they want to pursue, and what steps they need to take to get there.

ASVAB

The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is an aptitude test that the Armed Services administers to interested Juniors and Seniors at CDO each November. There is no fee for the test, and completion of the test does not require that the student enlist in any branch of the military. For more information, contact the counseling office at 696-5744.

AzCIS

The Arizona Dept. of Education, office of Career Development has officially registered CDO High School with AzCIS, a career research website. Students and parents can use this new system at home.
