STUDENTS

CDO ID: Reminder, all CDO students are required to have their CDO ID with them at all times while on school grounds.
DECA is sponsoring a Toy Drive from November 9 through December 9. You may drop off any new unwrapped toys in the Dorado Den, Room T-21 or any participating classroom. All toys will be donated to families in the Amphitheater District that need help this holiday season. Thank you in advance for your donations.
WINTER FORMAL INFORMATION: Winter Formal is Saturday, November 21, at the TCC. Tickets went on sale Tuesday, November 3, and remain on sale until THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19. Tickets will be on sale before school and during lunches ONLY. Ticket prices are $25.00 per ticket for the first week, $30.00 per ticket the second week, $35.00 per ticket the last week. Tickets for CDO students ONLY will be available at the door with school ID for $40.00 per ticket. Students will only be permitted to buy ONE (1) GUEST TICKET and it MUST be purchased at the time you are purchasing your own ticket. Guests/dates attending with another student are NOT permitted to purchase additional tickets. Students will only be permitted in the dance with your CDO ID and if your name is on the list of participants at the door. In addition, if you are planning on bringing a non-CDO student as a guest, he/she will need to be pre-approved PRIOR to purchasing tickets. Forms are available outside Mr. Enright’s office. If you have questions/concerns, please see Mr. Enright.
ATTENTION ALL 11TH AND 10TH GRADERS: Today, please report directly to the auditorium for Pride Time. We will have a presentation for the Pima County JTED who will tell you about programs you can sign up for in the spring and next year. Some of these programs are fire science, cosmetology, law enforcement, pharmacy technician, and nursing, just to name a few! Please come prepared to hear about these exciting programs.
ATTENTION STUDENTS WITH FINES for overdue Library books. Now, through December 17, you may choose to pay your fine with a non-perishable food item. Each $1.00 of your fine may be paid for with one can of food. Donated food items will be given to the Community Food Bank. See a Librarian for further information.
JUNIORS/SENIORS: The Art Center Design College will be on campus Thursday, November 12, at 10:00 a.m. If you are interested in Advertising Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation Graphics and Interior Design, then this might be the college for you. They have locations in Tucson and Albuquerque. To speak with their representative, stop by the Counseling Office and pick up a permission slip.
SENIORS: ASU asked us to remind you that anyone in the top 25% of the senior class December 1, is the priority deadline to apply for guaranteed review for merit scholarships. If you are in the top 25%, it is time NOW to get your application in to ASU if this is one of your school choices. Seniors: Make it a priority to get instate applications submitted before winter break.
STUDENTS: If you took the ASVAB test at CDO in October, the results will be handed out and explained in detail today. The interpretation will be held in the Lecture Hall today at 9:00 a.m. If you took this test, please take the time to get the results! If you have questions, go to the Counseling Office.
