Fundraising: Golf is Expensive
CDO works very hard to give golf opportunities to kids of all abilities regardless of their financial situation. Golf is expensive. CDO, like most high schools, has a very limited amount of funding for extracurricular activities like golf. Without donations, our programs would have to be reduced or eliminated. We are fortunate to have several golf courses who donate range and course time (see the 'Golf Courses Supporting CDO Golf' Link at the left) There are several ways you can financially support CDO Golf. Two are listed below.
Arizona Tax Credit Donations
The State of Arizona allows individuals to donate money to schools and take a dollar for dollar tax credit (better than a tax deduction). This means you donate to CDO Golf and Arizona reimburses you when you file your taxes (up to $200 per year for an individual or $400 for a married couple filing a joint return). The link at the right will give you more information on tax credit donations and allow you to use your credit card to support CDO Golf. You can print a form and mail in a donation check, too. Please consult your tax advisor to confirm what a great deal this tax credit is. Specify CDO Golf when you make your donation.
