Canyon del Oro High School has an active golf community. The Dorado Duffers, a co-ed school club, has the goal of introducing students to golf and/or improving their golf games. A student does not have to try-out for a CDO competitive golf team to enjoy golf at the school. Students from Cross Middle School and its feeder elementary schools (Copper Creek, Donaldson, Harelson and Mesa Verde) are also invited to participate.
