On this page you will find the requirements for both graduation from Canyon Del Oro High School and entrance into an Arizona University. It is important to notice the difference between the requirements, as the CDO requirements do not fulfill all of the college entrance requirements.

In addition to the above requirements, students are presently required to pass the AIMS test. The test will be given to all Sophomores each Spring. If a student does not pass any portion of the test (reading, writing, or math), he or she will have four additional opportunities to pass each portion before the Senior year. If all portions of the test are not passed by that time, the student will not graduate. All students should receive a AIMS preparation book their Freshman year.

Math4 Credits (beginning with Algebra I)
Science3 Credits (must be lab sciences)
History2 Credits (including American History)
Foreign Language2 Credits (same language)

In addition to the above listed requirements, students must meet specific G.P.A. requirements in the 16 core subjects, or have high SAT/ACT scores. Details are provided in the university applications.
