I began my teaching career in 1982. I moved to the Amphitheater Public School system in 1986 where I was part of the original team that opened Rio Vista Elementary School. I then began teaching at Prince Elementary. I served as an Assistant Principal at Amphi Middle School and Coronado K-8 School. As a first year principal, I was honored to open Painted Sky Elementary School. I have spent most of my career at lower income Title I schools. I wanted to find a smaller, community school after my experience at Painted Sky, a school with 800 students. I am proud and excited to be here at Donaldson Elementary School.
