	Main   >   Schools   >   HAR Extra Curricular Activities At Harelson Elementary School,  we try to provide students with ample opportunities to learn and grow.  Since students interests vary in so many individual areas,  we have several fun and challenging extracurricular avenues! Harelson Track Mrs. Glover & Mss. Carter sponsor our track team at Harelson.  Practices begin every February and end in March. The Track team is available for 1st-6th graders.  We participate in Parks and Recreation Track Meets and other State and local meets. Science Fair We sponsor an annual Science Fair each March.  We also enter selected projects in the University of Arizona Science and Engineering Fair. Chess Club Last year, a parent volunteered to sponsor our Chess Club.  We maintained 65 members in the Club.  Stay tuned for the meeting day and time.  This is an exciting option for our children.
