| I am thrilled to work with you as your new principal! I've already had the opportunity to meet and work with many of you over the last nine years in my previous role as an assistant principal at Ironwood Ridge. I've also taught history and government at Amphitheater High School and am currently in my second year as a doctoral student at the University of Arizona. I look forward to continuing developing positive and effective relationships, ensuring that each student is prepared to succeed in the college or career of their choice upon graduation, and promoting Ironwood Ridge in the community. Go Nighthawks! |

| This is my 24thyear working in the education profession. I had decided early on in my freshman year of high school that I wanted to pursue a career in education. I was fortunate to receive a full scholarship as a track athlete to attend Eastern Washington University where I completed my undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Education. I started my teaching career in Washington State and taught for 12 years as a special education, health and physical education teacher. I moved to Bend, Oregon in 1999 and accepted a teaching position with the Bend-La Pine School District. During my teaching time in Oregon, I applied and was accepted to the graduate program at the University of Oregon. I completed my Masters of Education in Leadership and Administration in 2007 and accepted an assistant principal position at La Pine High School. I moved from Oregon and accepted my current position with the Amphitheater School District as an assistant principal at Ironwood Ridge High School in 2010. I am thrilled and honored to be a Nighthawk and look forward everyday to working with our students, staff, parents and community members! |

It is great to be back at Ironwood Ridge for my third year and first as the athletic director. I have been in the Amphitheater School District as a coach, teacher or administrator since 1993. I started coaching football and baseball at Amphi Middle School before I graduated from the University of Arizona. After graduation, I had the opportunity to teach social studies at La Cima and Wilson before joining the administrative team at Prince. |

| I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and went on to teach chemistry, AP Chemistry, and physics at Catalina Foothills and Salpointe Catholic. From 2000-2003, I took a brief period of time away from education to work as an assistant volleyball coach at the University of Arizona. After leaving the UofA, I taught at Palo Verde High School for 8 years. In 2010, I moved into administration when I took a position at Amphi Middle School and I'm fortunate to be able to continue administrative work here at Ironwood Ridge High School. I'm so excited to be a part of the Nighthawk family and look forward to getting to know the students and families in this community. |
