The American School Counselors Association (ASCA) National Model consists of guidance curriculum delivered to all students via classroom presentations, individual planning, responsive services, and system support. Students are assigned to a counselor by alphabet; however, each counselor is assigned a cohort group and will deliver guidance curriculum throughout the student's high school years.
