IRHS ALL STAR CLUB
The Cross Categorical Special Education Program at IRHS makes up the IRHS All Stars Club. These students raise money for their program in many different ways, most recently making cards for all occasions!
The students in our program go out into the community every week to learn about job skills/training, communication skills, life skills and volunteer/work. These students are eager to get out there and experience new things and us teachers are eager to help them learn and gorw as individuals so they are ready for life after graduation.
We love to partner with businesses in the community, most recently this year we have been able to partner with The Golden Goose Thrift Store in Catalina. It is a non-profit organization and they have allowed us to come in twice a month and work/volunteer with them doing many different jobs that our students would be capable of doing once graduating. This experience has meant the world to our kids and they love to go and try new jobs every month.
