Welcome to Mrs. Blanchard's Class

 I so excited to be here at Ironwood Ridge High School and to be teaching my favorite subject – MATH!  My goal is prepare your students with a solid foundation so that they may explore all the options that available to them or the ones they have not thought of yet.

Teacher Biography

I am a native Virginian and moved to Tucson in 1998. I earned by bachelors degree at George Mason University and my masters in special education at Marymount University. My teaching career began in Fairfax County, Virginia. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Basic Skills. I have also dabbled in homeschooling my oldest daughter for first grade.
My hobbies include making photo books of my family, pottery, and swimming. I have three beautiful girls, Kennedy (6), Reagan (9) and Tyler (14). My husband, of 19 years, is an accounting professor at the Univerity of Arizona. I am looking forward to a fantastic year here at Ironwood Ridge.
