La Cima Registration
Welcome to La Cima!
For Registration during the school year...
Registration hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 3:00pm. Please check our district web page for
Student/Parent Information for our boundaries. Your child may start school the following day after registration forms are all completed.
The following information is required in order to registrar your child:
Current immunizations record
Original Birth Certificate
Proof of residency. This could be a utility bill (gas,electric, phone or cable) OR a lease agreement with your name on it.
The following information would be very helpful:
Current IEP (Special Education information)
Current Report Card
Name, address and phone number of former school
OPEN ENROLLENT
Anyone inquiring about open enrollment for La Cima must fill out an open enrollment form, which may be picked up at any Amphitheater Public School. Due to desegregation laws anyone who resides in the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) may not attend out of their TUSD school boundaries. Deadlines do apply for Open Enrollment. Please inquire with the school of choice.

Registration packets will be mailed to students by July 1, 2008.
Registration dates:
Eighth Graders are to report on Wednesday OR Thursday (July 16th & 17th):
8:00 – 12:00 p.m.
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. CLOSED
1:00 – 4:30 p.m.
Seventh Graders are to report on Monday OR Tuesday (July 21st & 22nd):
MONDAY, JULY 21
8:00 – 12:00 p.m.
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. CLOSED
1:00 – 4:30 p.m.
TUESDAY, JULY 22
10:00 – 2:00 p.m.
2:00 – 3:00 p.m. CLOSED
3:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Sixth Graders are to report on Thursday OR Friday (July 24th & 25th):
8:00 – 12:00 p.m.
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. CLOSED
1:00 – 4:30 p.m.
(Any student in any grade can come in on any of the above dates if they are unable to come in on the date specified for their grade.)
Students should bring (besides filled out registration packet):
Proof of residency (copy of current utility bill, rent or lease agreement in the parent or guardians name).
Immunization records (current history of shot record) for new students to La Cima. (Students cannot register without proof of immunizations)
Birth certificate (required by state law) for new students to La Cima.
If applicable, proof of guardianship/custody papers.
