PARENT-TEACHER ORGANIZATION
Mission: “Serve Mesa Verde Elementary School by managing fundraising and educational events while having fun along the way.”
Mesa Verde’s PTO members include teachers, administrators and parents and guardians of students enrolled at Mesa Verde.
Objectives:
Ensure students and teachers have access to tools and resources to facilitate learning Build better school-wide communication Welcome family and community involvement Finding new and better strategies for the education of our children
We are able to fund numerous valuable programs and community-building family events due to the success of our school fundraisers. Support our Mesa Verde PTO and get involved with events. It’s a great way to meet other Mesa Verde families and to be a part of your child’s education.
PTO MEETINGS Parents and Guardians are encouraged to attend PTO meetings; everyone’s input is welcome. Meetings are held in the Library and are tentatively scheduled for the following:
- September 3, 6:00 pm
- October 1, 6:00 pm
- November 5, 6:00 pm
- January 7, 6:00 pm
- February 4, 6:00 pm
- March 4, 6:00 pm
- April 22, 6:00 pm
During the school year we will be looking for volunteers to assist us in hosting events and activities. If interested in volunteering, please email Beth Lake or call her at 302-3584.
