At the Grand Canyon, we stayed in a hotel. While we were there, it snowed. We had a snowball fight a few times and we also got to go on the Polar Express. That was really fun! Santa came into the train, and handed out bells, which caused the whole train to be very loud. We were also given hot chocolate, and a chocolate chip cookie. It was realy neat because there was very fluffy snow, which we couldn't go to because we were in the train the whole time. After we got off the train, we went straight back to the hotel, and then went to bed for another big day.
The next morning, we went to the real Grand Canyon where, just like at the hotel, there was lots of snow. We had another snow ball fight, which was really fun, too. The sight you would see at the Grand Canyon was amazing! When you look off the edge, you look down for a far, far, far distance. It's an amazing sight to see!
While we were there, there was a crow (which we thought was looking for handouts)that squawked the whole time, hopping from branch to branch. We went to a resturant where (of course)we ate. After that we started on our way back home. Going to the Grand Canyon is something that I would highly recomend!!! |
