| What an exciting adventure and privilege it has been to start up this library and serve our patrons for twenty years! What was at the beginning a sparse book collection has become a large well balanced library of 25,800 titles today. The once stark interior evolved into a bright and beautiful student art museum as well. Each week, thirty two classrooms visit the library to participate in reading incentive programs and events as well as instruction in information skills and language arts. We have become a community resource as well, serving parents, grandparents and our neighborhood. |

Our district theme and reading incentive programs will feature bears. Students may earn some "beary" good prizes by reading books.LI-BEAR-IES ARE GREAT!
Here's five highlights of upcoming events.Oct. 28th,a Fall Festival will be held on campus. In November,a Native American Rededication ceremony will honor Native American students and the ancient inhabitants of our school grounds. The Celtic Festival across the river will host our students and display their art. February will bring the biggest and best Love Of Reading Month ever. May 11,2007 is our 20th Anniversary Party & Reunion. |
