The Wilson Library is dedicated to providing educational and recreational reading needs in print and electronic formats for students and teachers in grades K-8.



About the Library
The Wilson Library provides library services for the elementary and middle school students at our school. The head librarian, Susan Juric, has been at Wilson since the school opened in 1996. Mrs. Juric has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Secondary Education and Library Science from the University of Arizona, and over 18 years of experience in Amphitheater school libraries.

Kathi Rush is the Elementary Library Assistant. She is a graduate of Utah State University, and a former Spanish and ESL teacher, with 14 years of experience in Virginia and Arizona schools, as well as 8 years in the Fredericksburg, VA public library system. She is very happy to be doing what she loves -- working with students, and passing along her passion for reading!



Elementary students visit the library weekly with their classroom teacher, and middle school students visit the library on a flexible schedule according to the research and reading requirements of their teachers.

The library hours are the same as the school day. Elementary, 8:00 - 2:30, and Middle School 8:20 - 3:35. The Tuesday hours follow the early release schedule for each school.

The Wilson Library does not charge fines for overdue books, but students may not checkout books until overdues are returned. Students who lose books will be charged the replacement cost, plus 10% for tax, shipping, and handling.
