Our Guide for a Successful Year

Six Pillars

Our classroom rules are the six pillars of character from the Character Counts Program:
Trustworthiness

Respect

Responsibility

Fairness

Caring

Citizenship

At the beginning of the school year the students and I spend a lot of time discussing the importance of each pillar. They keep us safe, productive, and happy. We spend time modeling correct and incorrect choices for each pillar.
