The Fulbright Memorial Fund
The Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program provides teachers and administrators (K-12) with the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture and education. This is provided through a three-week stay in Japan. During this time educators stay in Tokyo and a prefecture to participate in an orientation to Japan, visits to schools (primary through teacher traning colleges), a family home stay, and visits to cultural sites and industry facilities.

Educators may apply for three cycles - June, October, or November. This JFMF program is a wonderful way for teachers and administrators to experience and learn about Japanese culture.

My experience in October of 2005 was amazing! I recommend participating in the JFMF program to all educators.
