The majority of the artwork housed in this museum is from native Kyushu artists - with a focus on Kurume. Ishibashi Museum Site Ishibashi Museum of Art This is a wonderful website includes views inside the museum and information about many of the popular pieces in the museum. Kora Taisha Shrine During our winding trip up the lush mountain to this shrine, we had a wonderful view of the city. The Kora Taisha Shriine is on Mt.Kora which is part of the Mino Mountain Ridge. It is considered the highest ranking shrine in the Chikugo region according to the official Kurume website. Buddhist Corner Jibo Cannon Statue This massive statue is located in Kurume.
