I earned my Bachelor's Degree in History with an emphasis in Government from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, and my Master's Degree in Teaching and Teacher Education from the University of Arizona with an emphasis in History. I've lived in Arizona since 1991 when I had my first teaching position in Nogales. I have taught in the Amphitheater School District for 11 years, six years at Amphitheater Middle School, and for five years at Amphitheater High School where I teach U.S History and Government.
