About Mrs. Wilcox

I absoulutely love teaching first grade! It is such an exciting time in a child's life. I feel fortunate to be a part of it. We will have a very busy year filled with learning and laughter.
I grew up in Durango, Colorado and still carry a love of the mountains with me. I have lived in Tucson since 1990 and have grown to love the desert almost as much.
I attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and earned a BA in Elementary Education from Prescott College. This is my tenth year teaching and my seventh year at Coronado. I am a proud Navy wife and have 3 children, Benjamin, Conner, and Calvin who are my joy. In my free time I like to read, ride bikes with my children, cook, hike, scrapbook,snorkel, and spend time with my family.
