About Mrs. Wilson

Amy Wilson grew up in Southern California but has lived in Tucson for the last 16 years. She majored in Fine Art at the University of Arizona before completing her Masters in Elementary Education through Northern Arizona University. Her favorite subject to teach is reading, which is why she obtained her Reading Endorsement. Amy has experience teaching in TUSD and in the Vail Public Schools. She is very happy to be teaching here at Prince in the Amphitheater School District. Currently Amy teaches First and Second grade reading. Her goal is to ensure that every student loves to read as much as she does. Besides reading, Amy enjoys dabbling in pottery, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, two children, and dog Rusty.
