Welcome to Copper Team Science!!
This week we will develop skills in Metric Measurement of length, volume, mass and temperature.

Karie Decker will be in class again on Friday.

Take a look at the "Work of the Week" tab on the left blue bar to see what is planned for this week.


Here are some suggestions for extra credit reading: (These are all High School level reading)

* Planets, by Dava Sobel
* A Brief History of Nearly Everything, by Bill Bryson
* Krakatoa, by Simon Winchester

Here is a list of supplies you'll need at the begining of school:
• A 3-ring notebook -this may have dividers and include other classes, and brought to class each day.
• Another 3-ring notebook – This is kept at home and will be brought to school on a few occasions and will be your portfolio of your school work all year.
-College lined, three holed notebook paper.
• Dark blue or black Pen. - No jelly pens or light colors, please.
• Pencil and eraser -mechanical pencils OK
• Clear plastic page protectors. About 60
Nice to have-
• Colored pencils
• 3-hole pouch for supplies
• Colored highlighters
• Metric ruler
• Student scissors
• A “jump Drive” or “memory stick”
• Post-it notes
