Philosophy
|
Education is about involved parents, invested students, and dedicated teachers working together to support each unique young person as that youth creates an informed, thoughtful, responsible adult.
I believe that students create themselves by searching, exploring, and risking. The goal of the language arts classes is to offer students opportunities to develop their competency in effective communication through real-world experiences and work that integrates relevant concepts from language arts, the visuals and performing arts and social sciences. In order to foster the development of competence and independence, students are provided specific expectations and offered real-world responsibility and personal choices.
