About the Teacher
I am originally from Washington state. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in English from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. I also received my teaching certificate and completed my student teaching in Washington. I worked with grade levels from Kindergarten to seniors in high school.

This is my sixth year living in Arizona and teaching at Wilson K-8. I have taught both 6th and 7th grade here. Middle school is a challenging time for many students as they are going through and dealing with so many changes. This is one of the main reasons I enjoy working in this grade level. I feel that I am an easy person to talk to and hope that this helps some students transition more easily. I have many changes occurring at home myself. I have a two year old daughter named Danica who was born April 23rd, 2007. She keeps me busy at home but is a lot of fun. I hope that this year is full of wonderful events both at home and in the classroom for everyone. I look forward to sharing this year together!

I hope that this website is useful for you to find information. If there are ever any problems, or if you have any questions about any information please feel free to contact me.
