Mr. Gutierrez graduated from Sabino High School in 1994 as class valedectorian and then graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1998. Mr. Gutierrez has been involved with Amphitheater School District and school age children since 1998. He started his teaching career at Harelson Elementary. He then moved to Cross Middle School and taught special education mathematics, Adaptive PE, and Study Skills. He coached many successful football, basketball, wrestling, and volleyball teams while at Cross. Last year he was an administrator at La Cima Middle School, and he has been the Principal of the SAFE program for the last 4 years.
