Ms. Hedberg
Welcome to 6th grade at La Cima Middle School. I hope your year is fantastic and fun!

All about Ms. Hedberg
I am so happy to be here at La Cima. I am teaching 6th grade Science along with 6th grade Reading.

I have a Master's and Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arizona and am currently working on my Ph.D. from the University of Leicester in England. My specialties include archaeology, ancient history, creative writing, mythology, Latin, Greek, and mathematics.

I have lived most of my life here in Tucson, although I love to travel and see the world outside of our beautiful city. I have a daughter in 6th grade, 2 cats and a cocktiel.

As for my classroom priorities, I insist that my students come to class every day prepared to learn and that they respect those around them. This includes having supplies on-hand, being properly dressed, and sitting in their seats when the bell rings. I encourage class discussions and am usually available for after-school tutoring during Achieve.
