Welcome to Ms. Reents's REACH classes
I'm Carol Reents. I have a master's degree in gifted education from Northern Arizona University and taught gifted education in northern Arizona for more than 11f years. I am really happy to be in Tucson where I am close to my two sons and my grandchildren! I'm also excited about teaching gifted education at La Cima. My favorite past times include quilting, reading sci fi and historical fiction, and "hanging out" with my family.

What is the REACH Program at La Cima?
The gifted and talented program in the Amphitheater District is called the REACH program. REACH students at La Cima Middle school have a menu of class options from which to choose classes in our REACH program. I teach three of these classes: 6th grade advanced reading, and 7th and 8th grade humanities which are 2-hour blocks of combined language arts and social studies. Other classes on our menu include the performing arts, and both advanced math and science classes.
