About Myself

I have been at Wilson for 10 years now, starting as a substitute teacher and working my way to certification in the area that I truly love...8th grade math! I have been teaching Pre-algebra for the past 6 years and realize that this is where I belong. I feel that my strength is in breakng math down into the smaller pieces that alot of us(including myself) need to do to understand these wild mathematical concepts!
I graduated many years ago from San Diego State University, with a degree in education, but went skiing instead of finishing my certification. I met my husband Jack, at Snowbird, Utah,where we both worked and we soon moved to Arizona to have our family. I can't really say that I would change anything about those years, but I have worked very hard to get where I am today!
I am happily married to a golf fanatic with two fabulous children. Both kids graduated from Wilson. My son, Casey was in the first class that promoted from Wilson and is now out in the work force. Taren,just graduated from Ironwood Ridge and will be attending ASU. Not only do I love the people members of my family, I also love my three little mutts,Otto,Eddie and Cricket, and their queen,Chloe, our cat. |
