About Mr. Alzner
|
| I was raised in Montana. My parents always encouraged me to try new things and make the most out of life. They both came from a long line of people who moved around and chased their dreams; I saw no reason to be any different. I received my BA in English and Secondary Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota; I graduated in 1994. I worked as a high school English teacher in Bismarck, ND, Laramie, Wyoming and Gambell & Wainwright, Alaska. I spent a total of 3 years in Alaska and worked in two small Eskimo villages in very remote parts of Aaska's wilderness. After many years of teaching I decided to attend the University of Arizona to receive my MLS (Masters in Library Science). I graduated with my Masters in Library Science from the University after a very intense year of study. I applied and was hired for a position with the Amphi School District as a librarian at Canyon Del Oro High School. I am now 4 years into my career at CDO. I love working in the library and I thoroughly enjoy working at CDO. |
