All About Me

I love first grade as I have been in first grade for 15 years!!!! I also taught kindergarten and was an aide for two years at Copper Creek. Before that....I taught Special Education in Michigan for eight years! I am married and have a daughter attending NAU. No, I don't have any cats as my husband is highly allergic!!! I do love animals and children! In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, cross-stitching and shopping!!

School hours: 7:55a.m.-2:25p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Tuesday hours:7:55a.m.- 12:25 p.m.
Lunch: 11:45-12:15 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Tuesday: 11:35-12:20
Cost of Lunch $1.85
Cost of Milk $ .40
Lunch Tickets- If you purchase a lunch ticket for your child, please put check or money in a envelop labled with your child's name and my name

I will keep you informed of weekly activities by sending home a newsletter on Fridays. The newsletter is copied on yellow paper and is called "Perfectly Good News from the Kiddies in Room 5." Be sure to read the newsletter as it contains important information.

It is very important to me that your child arrives home safely! Please, if there is any change in your child's after school transportation plans, let me know! You may call me by 2:00 p.m. and leave me a message or send a note to school with your child. I will not allow your child to go home by a different mode of transportation unless I am notified. I will follow the regular departure schedule for your child.
