Audition Applications can be picked up in the front ofice our outside of my classroom rm#607. Please complete the application return it to the school office or to room 607 no later than 4:00pm on January 16th. Late forms will NOT be accepted. Every student that will be auditioning for the talent show must have one of these papers properly filled out and turned in with a parent¡¦s signature. The contact person will be notified of the audition date and time by January 20th. A notice will be placed in your teacher¡¦s/AFT teacher¡¦s box.

In order to create a show that is upbeat, representative of all grades and entertaining, there are five criteria that will be evaluated during the auditions. Each student should consider these things while preparing their act:
1. The act should appeal to the general audience.
2. The act should be well rehearsed.
3. The act should be unique and creative.
4. The act should be no more than 3 minutes.
5. Special consideration will be given to acts that are multi-grade level.
Unfortunately not every act will make the cut to be in the talent show. Typically 20 acts are chosen from 60 auditioned acts from K-8th grades. Please practice and be ready to audition.
Depending on the type of act that you will be auditioning, you act will be on Monday January 26th or Wednesday January 28th. Audition times will run about every 5 minutes from 3:00 ¡V 6:30 ish. If you have a TIME conflict please indicate so below.
