Welcome to Honors World History
| | | Honors World History is taught on a global scale at the 9th grade level and examines world history from Ancient Times to the Renaissance. You will develop a greater understanding of the evolution of global processes and contacts including interactions over time. The course highlights the nature of changes in international frameworks and their causes and consequences, as well as comparisons among major societies. Next year, as sophomores, you will continue from the Renaissance to Modern Times. We will study the different political, economic, social and cultural aspects of major civilizations in the context of an ever changing world. You will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of how ideas and events from the past have influenced and shaped our modern world. |

About the Teacher

| I graduated from the University of Montana with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and from Chapman University with a Master's degree in Education. I have been teaching at Amphi High School since 2003. |
