| Contacting Each Other
| | I anticipate sending you weekly newsletters and occasionally sending notes and email messages and making phone calls to you. I will also communicate with you through my website and blog, online grades, and the Upcoming Events and Homework Hotline.
I encourage you to communicate with me often via notes, email messages, and phone calls; I will respond promptly.

There is a phone in the classroom, Room 16. The classroom phone number is 696-6690. During the time when your child is in school, all phone calls are forwarded to my voice mail. I will check for messages at least three times during the school day. The school office’s phone number is 696-6610. In an emergency, you can always call the office, and someone will get in immediate contact with me. Prior to 7:30 a.m. and after 2:45 p.m., the phone will ring and I will answer it, assuming I am in the classroom.
You are welcome to visit us in Room 16 to see what learning and activities are taking place although if it is while the students and I are working or I am teaching, I will be unable to speak with you about your child. I plan on arriving at school by 7:15 a.m. on most mornings (earlier on some) and leaving by 4:30 p.m. on most days (earlier or later on some). If you want to meet with me in person, please call me or send a note with your child prior to the day that you want to meet, and I will contact you to arrange a time.
And of course, you can contact me by email! When you send me a message, please use your daughter or son's full name as the subject so that I am not suspicious of receiving a message from an email address that I do not recognize.
I look forward to being a part of your child’s happy and successful third grade experience.
